What is ART???

Our intermediate students brainstormed what art is to them and what art isn't. There were so many wonderful, meaningful, and creative ideas! What a great start to the new school year. :) Writing across curriculum is one of our school's focuses and I couldn't be more happy to incorporate more writing into art!

    Welcome Back Cyclones!

I'm beyond excited for the 2014-2015 school year! Many changes have been made to our art room for increased usage of technology, project based learning, and differentiated instruction!

Students will be engaging in 8 units based on the history of time through art. We will learn how to interpret a timeline from the following key aspects:

    Prehistoric
    Ancient
    Medieval
    Renaissance
    Abstract
    Modernism
    Post-Modernism
    Futuristic
