Pasco County Fair Day 4 and 5

 Students were awarded ribbons today for their beautiful works of art from the Pasco County Fair. I'm so proud of our Centennial kiddos! 2015 Spring Art Club

Egyptian Cartouches-2nd grd

2nd grade focused on Ancient Egyptian Cartouches. Students learned how to build slabs and coils out of clay and illustrated their names in hieroglyphs. 

 

Ancient Times Unit

Students have been working extremely hard on their Ancient times art lessons. We focused on Ancient Greece and Egypt due to the many amazing art contributions from these areas. Students explored mosaics, architecture, printmaking, hieroglyphics, mythology, pottery, geometric patterns, monuments, temples, and fashion.
